Long Bush Coat

Another excellent item from Stoney. A word of warning on the sizing though. I'm usually a medium/large in jackets and fleeces and the like. However, I was really surprised to find that a small in this particular jacket actually fits me perfectly. It was a bloody good job seeing as it was the last one in the store. I'm in the U.K.

Picked this up at Fieldays this past year, and I have thoroughly appreciated having this coat! Great in any amount of rain, and the chest pocket is perfect because it is quite spacious, allowing you to have multiple items available for easy access out in the bush.

Had this jacket for 2 years now and have definitely put it through its passes! Best waterproof jacket I've come across to keep you warm and dry. Good large pockets all around and still packs down reasonably small for those longer walks. Highly recommend!

I've had my long bush coat for over 3 years and it's performance is head and shoulders over everything else I've had. It' bulletproof! In all weathers it's been totally waterproof and also extremely breathable and not clammy, unlike some of the expensive sweat bags I've had. It's also long enough to sit on. It's still in perfect condition, all taped seams still perfect. It's not until you use something that you appreciate its features, When I put my thermal in the vertical chest pocket its weight closes the pocket unlike a horizontal pocket which flops open. The shoulder bubbles really do keep your rifle in place!, It's something you don't really notice until you later carry your rifle when wearing a jacket without them! lastly I really like the big front lower pocket. Being able to warm your hands together inside it when in a high seat is really useful.

Cracking bit of kit well made and is with me on every hunt.

I have had my long bush coat for at least 7 years now, it is like my best friend. It’s been all types of bad weather and kept me warm and dry without a fuss or a hitch. It has even doubled as a ground sheet for somewhere to sit on many deer hunting hikes. Definitely a very durable and reliable piece of gear. Love it.

This coat is amazing, I went out in heavy rain and I stayed bone dry. Fantastic coat highly recommend.

Love this item. Keeps me warm and dry when out and about on the farm in the early mornings. Nice to not have to worry about my comfort.

This is an old school Stoney Creek Rainwear jacked with the rubber embossed old stoney creek emblem on it green tree white writing, this has stood up to the test of time is still mostly water proof many moons later, it has a few holes and cuts after many many years of bush bashing and the only place the water still really gets in is there where tapped seams have come away but I still wear this bad boy, love the big deep single chest pocket, have keep many an item safe over the years. The generous hood, longer tail, good zip and dome clips, it's gotta be one of the best rainwear items I've ever had.

Purchased my first jacket today after having my brother and two nephews extolling the benefits of your product I now need to put it to the test.

Being silly enough to be into a lot of outdoor pursuits I have a lot of bad weather jackets up to the expensive mountaineering orientated ones. For a hard wearing, waterproof and comfortable jacket for below the snow line, this is it for me. It may be a bit 'heavy' in comparison with a lot of other jackets, but it works!

Really good jacket, hard wearing and reliable breaths extremely well and keeps the wet stuff out! Will be 100% buying more!

I've had my Long Bush Coat for 6 years and the coat still never lets me down. It's weather resistant enough to cope with almost all weather conditions, is a great, warm outer layer. By far my most used piece of gear.

This thing is out the gate warm relatively dry and just all around strong absolutely love it.

I bought one of the earlier versions of this coat. I needed a seriously tough but quiet coat that would handle everything I could throw at it while pig hunting. I have not been disappointed. I carried it wrapped around my waist when climbing hard and it was always there and reliable when the weather got cold or nasty. I also used it when carrying. It has done more than 1000 hunts and has seen constant use in blackberry and gorse. It was also my carry cape and has had a lot of blood down the back, the stitching and material never even looked like failing. All it has ever had is a wash. Often just a hose down on the fence. The other thing I like is that it breaths. That makes a huge difference when climbing and carrying. Credit where it is due. That is why I am writing this.

Awesome jacket, keeps you dry and warm even in the worst conditions. Climbed to the summit of pen y fan in November wearing this beauty. Had rain, sleet, hail, high winds and gusts. Stayed warm and dry all day. One thing I will say is I find it slightly too warm to wear unless the temperature is very low (less than 4 degrees) or in high winds with rain.

I have has a few smocks and this one beats them all hands down. You won’t be disappointed.

Durable (bromberries no problem), water- and windproof jacket. Sturdy quality. Only reason for not getting a 5 star/point review is the lack of armpit ventilation. That could absolutely have made a bullseye product for not getting a 5 star/point review.

Tough shirt for any outdoor activities, I use mine for everything including bush hunting and it has held up really well. Outperforms the other hunting brands by far in quality and comfort.

This jacket was great for the roar because it was wet and cold and the long bush jacket kept me warm from the elements. Its also a good jacket for glassing up the top of the hill if its a bit cold and damp. Cheers Jack

This jacket has been through everything and hasn’t faulted me once. Just needs a re waterproofing every so often and then it’s away laughing. Can stalk in it all day without over heating and can trust it to keep me warm when sitting in a maimai.
